What's a Major 6 Arpeggio?
Major 6 arpeggios contains four notes, root (1), major third (3), perfect fifth (5) and sixth (6). These are nothing but a major triad with a sixth added. Minor 6 arpeggios are generally used to play over major 6 chords. Another way to understand the construction of major 6 arpeggios, just take a major 7 arpeggio and replace the seventh (7) with the sixth (6).
