On page https://www.jazz-guitar-licks.com/pages/chords/dominant-ninth-guitar-chords.html, under the topic "Basic 9th Guitar Chord Shapes", there is a fretboard diagram containing a 'triangle with the number 3'.
I assume the 3 refers to the 3rd note of the scale, but what does the triangle mean and is there a page at JGL explaining other such symbols?
Thanks,
Dan
what does the triangle mean?

Hey Dan
The number 3 with a triangle means major third.
Go check this page about guitar intervals and symbols.
Thanks
Stef
