The Ultraphrygian Mode For Guitar - Lesson With Charts and Shapes

The Ultraphrygian mode aka Phrygian b4 bb7 is the third mode of the double harmonic scale.

It is sometimes reffered to as the seventh mode of the Hungarian minor scale.

Interval Formula

The Ultraphrygian mode contains seven notes giving the formula 1 (tonic) - b2 (minor second) - b3 (minor third) - b4 (flat fourth) - 5 (perfect fifth) - b6 (minor sixth) and diminished seventh (bb7).

    Hello, I love the site!
    I believe i found a mistake with the Ultraphrygian Mode shape 1. It outlines the shape containing the 4 when I believe it should be the b4.
